Whew! Last update of the night.

At around noon on Valentines Day, I decided to head on over to Akihabara again for the Good Smile convention they were having. I had no idea what was inside or if it was worth the over an hour trip from Yokosuka when I was just there yesterday. Also, I was expecting a quick walk in, snap a few pics if I can, then walk out and have lunch. Boy was I mistaken. I saw this upon getting off the train.


I thought the lines would just go to the staircase but once you go up that (took an hour just to get there), there is another set of lines (another hour there) and then….another set of lines. All in all, it took 2 and a half hours to get to the enterance. I was starving, having had no breakfast but that went out the window when I saw the enterance.

Figma Bikes! This was the new thing introduced at the convention and everyone got one for free at the enterance. Mine was orange.

A racing Nendoroid Miku. I found out later that they actually gave everyone a free Racing Miku Nendoroid Papercraft.

Otaku admire the new Alter StrikerS Fate. Wish Nanoha was there too. Shamal got a coming soon sign.

A very large Konata Figure. Way too large for me. It was as big as a Dollfie Dream. I could tell the staff almost told me not to take a picture of this…

This Nagi Kannagi figure is actually not that bad. I’ve seen far worse.

A nice Zange figure is in the works. Pretty sure that sign says “No Pictures”. Its a good thing I can’t read Japanese.

Don’t know what figure this is but its a “no pictures” prototype so I thought someone might like it.

Swimsuit Nanoha by Good Smile. I’d like a Swimsuit Fate.

Touhou plushies. Shame they are not that price in Akihabara. I want an Alice one.

There was a prototype Suburu on display. It looks like they put there ideas of what the best Alter Suburu could be. Why no Alter StrikerS Nanoha on display though?

Itasha! I think thats how you say it. I heard the Japanese saying it so I could be wrong.

This shot came out nicely. They were selling stickers to put on your own car but my car is in the rain so much that stickers start to crust and peel off over time. Don’t have a garage.

Here is a pic of all the freebies that I got at the convention. An Orange Figma Bike. Some assembly required. And a Racing Miku Hatsune Nendoroid Papercraft. Was given a racing sticker as well. Think they gave all the Otakus in there some Valentines Day chocolate as well. ^_^;

Well, that all. This was the most fun I’ve had at a convention ever. Even beat the Comic convention in Dallas were a got to meet the actor who plays Samwise Gamgee in Lord of the Rings. No one told me to stop taking pictures. Thats how conventions should be. ^_^
